Media Interviews

I’m available for interviews by editors, reporters, show hosts and bloggers about my books and their topics

  • in person at my office or a reasonably nearby location that suits you
  • In your broadcast or cable/satellite studio
  • via telephone
  • via Skype
  • through email
  • via teleconference or webinar

Call 610-847-2456 or use our Contact Form to request more information or to schedule an interview. I prefer to have prior notice of any interviews, but if you have a killer deadline coming up and really need a source, give me a call. I still do some journalistic work myself and I understand that pressure, so I’ll do my best to make time to talk with you if at all possible.

Generally, I’ll be most effective as a source on the following topics:

  • Most topics regarding flooding on the Delaware River and its tributaries, especially the flood of 1955 and later
  • Some history of the Tocks Island Dam project and the subsequent creation of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area
  • The origin of the Delaware River Basin Commission
  • The history of tropical weather systems and their effect on the Delaware River Valley
  • SkyWarn Storm Spotting (I’m a certified SkyWarn spotter in the national program by NWS.)
  • Storm chasing (I am an experienced chaser on the High Plains.)
  • Severe Weather (I’m an amateur weather enthusiast, not a meteorologist.)
  • Related Emergency Management Issues (I’m the weather coordinator for my township’s EMA.)
  • Rescuing, adopting and living with special needs pets

  • I own and operate The Word Forge, a freelance marketing consultancy
  • I consult with “mom & pop” businesses, entrepreneurs, authors and independent publishers on how to approach marketing in the 21st century.
  • I’m a commercial copywriter and have begun specializing in certain facets of social media marketing.
  • I speak on this topic to businesses, at conferences and on industry panels.
