Hello Mary Shafer... I want to thank you for writing this series of articles. I wrote a series of books about a fifteen year old foster child that discovers he has magical powers and thought it would make a great story for young adults. I have been searching for information to get my book into the schools and look forward to reading each of your articles about the subject. So thank you again for writing these articles!

Thanks, Barb. It's definitely gonna happen. Just hoping it's soon, and that's what I'm working toward. Thanks so much for your support. :)

I hope you write this book, Mary. LOVE the title. And you know, you are one of my mentors. I believe like you, that yes, we write to work out our own stuff-- at least it is so for me.

Just want to leave you a note having discovered you while searching the 1955 Delaware floods. There was a video you did several years ago in which you said that you felt that people had not learned their lesson from those days. So true that is as once again there is extreme flooding and yet the newspeople make no reference to that flood, only later flooding. Why is it that people who live in the flood plain are surprised when it floods. I am going search out your book to read.

Great information on a teaching guide, Mary! Another helpful tip for your readers, which I actually did, was I hired a teacher to write my guide for me. This teacher knows me well and my book, so it was a good fit. When I had the first draft I then had two other teachers look at it for input and feedback. So if authors don't have the time and would rather hire this out, this is a great option.
Thank you also for the plug about my book coming soon! I'm so excited to be able to offer this book and help other authors share their messages with the world. I really believe this is a very exciting time to be an author with all the changes happening in the publishing industry.
Last but not least, this book would have never been reality if it was not for your expertise as a marketing consultant and seeing the potential I had to write this book! Thank you!
